Poor cooling can be caused by dirty condenser coils, blocked air vents, a failed fan, temperature-control issue, or compressor-related fault. We diagnose the cause and restore reliable cooling performance. Common refrigerator service issues also include cooling failures, defrost problems, water-dispenser faults, ice-maker problems, and unusual noise.
Water under or inside the refrigerator often comes from a clogged defrost drain, a cracked or loose water line, an ice-maker connection, or a damaged drain pan. We locate the source and repair it before it causes further floor or cabinet damage.
Rattling, buzzing, grinding, or clicking can be caused by a fan motor, loose components, ice buildup, debris near the condenser fan, or a compressor-related issue. A new or unusually loud noise is worth having inspected.
A clogged water filter, frozen fill tube, failed water-inlet valve, faulty ice-maker assembly, or low water supply can prevent ice production. We test the water flow and ice-maker components to identify the failed part.
Excess frost may indicate a worn door gasket, door that is not sealing, defrost-system failure, blocked drain, or faulty sensor. Repairing the underlying problem helps prevent recurring ice buildup and uneven temperatures.
Arrange service promptly if the refrigerator cannot stay at or below 40°F, food is warming, or the freezer is thawing. The FDA recommends keeping refrigerators at 40°F or below and freezers at 0°F; use an appliance thermometer if you are unsure of the actual temperature.
